BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & SALES MANAGER - February 2019

About the Role

We are currently looking for a Business Development & Sales Manager to join the business and drive customer acquisition and net new growth in Australia and New Zealand.

As a Business Development & Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Generating market assessments and business development strategies for selected solutions
  • Selling supply chain technology solutions and services to net new customers
  • Generating new business relationships
  • Meeting performance goals associated with quota achievement and sales activity
  • Uncovering and cultivating both short and long-term sales opportunities
  • Staying one step ahead of the market by being deeply attuned to shifts in industry trends, and
  • Matching solution to the customer’s business needs, challenges, and technical requirements

 About You

To be successful, you are likely to have the following experience, skills and attributes:

  • Extensive experience and working knowledge in an enterprise software sales role, selling SaaS solutions to large accounts across a range of industries
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles with multiple business stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully prospect and close deals
  • Developed network and market penetration plans
  • Demonstrated experience in building positive sustainable relationships with customers, and
  • A background working in a high growth company is preferred

SOLUTIONS CONSULTANT - January 2019

About the Role

We are currently looking for an experienced Business Solutions Consultant to join to join the Bestrane and implement, support and  assist sales of our solutions in Australia and New Zealand.

As a Business Solutions Consultant, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Solutions Delivery and Support
    • Direct responsibility of consulting activity on customer projects, utilising Bestrane solutions.
    • Proficient use of Bestrane solution set, including Route Planner, OnDemand Route Planner, Transportation Manager, Dock Appointment Scheduler, and MobileDOCK to fulfill the requirements of our customers.
    • Deliver training to customer personnel.
    • Other tasks relating to the delivery of projects and ongoing service for our customers as required.
    • Participate in the support of our customers solutions on an ongoing basis including first line and second line support activities.
  • Solutions Sales
    • Participate and assist with the closure of selected opportunities within the Bestrane sales pipeline with a variety of solutions offered by Bestrane, including route optimisation, mobility, sales and territory planning and others.
    • Conduct business modelling to feed into business cases.
    • Demonstrate our solutions to prospective customers.
    • Perform business case development with our prospects.
    • Create and deliver presentations to prospective customers, conveying business benefits.
    • Develop and realise internal and external sales as identified either by lead generation, networking, conferences, or cold calling.

 About You

To be successful, you are likely to have the following experience, skills and attributes:

  • Extensive experience in Logistics, and specifically transport operations
  • Proven ability to work with optimisation technologies, and the way they are configured for business outcomes.
  • Previous experience implementing and supporting optimisation technologies.
  • Confident in presenting to groups of people who may challenge your assumptions and results.
  • A desire to work in a dynamic business, where every day will present challenges and opportunities.
  • Previous experience with optimisation technology providers will be highly regarded.
